When women experience or leave domestic abuse, everyday essentials can become difficult to access. Moving to a safer environment, setting up a new home or meeting the needs of children can bring unexpected costs and practical challenges at an already stressful time.
At Nu Me Foundation, we understand that every woman's situation is different. Our Support & Signposting programme aims to help women identify relevant services and connect with trusted organisations that can provide specialist guidance, practical assistance and ongoing support.
At Nu Me Foundation, we believe that no woman should have to choose between her safety and her career. Our Workplace Advocacy programme aims to encourage employers to recognise the impact of domestic abuse and develop more compassionate, practical and supportive workplace policies.
